The Foundations Program consists of 4 modules with 4 subtopics per module:

 

The “Foundations of U.S. Corporate Law & Practice” module covers basic U.S. business law:

  • Business Associations
  • Corporate Finance
  • Accounting for Lawyers
  • U.S. Securities Law and Regulation

 

The “Foundations of Dispute Resolution” module introduces students to theory and practice across four dispute resolution topics:

  • Dispute Resolution Survey
  • Negotiation
  • Mediation Advocacy
  • International Business Arbitration

 

The “Foundations of Intellectual Property Law” module covers basic intellectual property law in four separate topics:

  • Trade Secrets & Patents
  • Copyright & Trademark 
  • Data Privacy Law
  • IP for Startups

 

The “Foundations of International Business Law” module covers basic U.S. business law in four separate topics:

  • International Mergers and Acquisitions
  • International Business Transactions 
  • International Trade
  • International Tax
